DuckTheLine at Center Parcs Trois-Forêts

Center Parcs Trois-Forêts, located in Moselle, is not only the largest Center Parcs in Europe but also a popular destination with hotel capacity for up to 6,000 guests. This exceptional natural setting attracts families seeking relaxation. However, the high visitor volume creates a significant challenge in managing visitor flows, especially regarding dining services.

Challenge

With seating capacity of fewer than 1,000 places for 6,000 potential guests, the intentionally reservation-free policy in the restaurants often results in long waiting times, which can negatively impact the guest experience.

Areas

To address this challenge, Center Parcs Trois-Forêts decided to implement DuckTheLine, our innovative virtual queue management solution. This system allows visitors to register upon arrival via their smartphones or kiosks available in the park. Once registered, they can freely enjoy other park activities without physically waiting outside restaurants. When a table becomes available, they receive a notification or SMS inviting them to the restaurant, enabling them to better organize their day.

A Dual Role

DuckTheLine serves a dual purpose, benefiting both the restaurant services and the visitors. The integration of DuckTheLine has significantly enhanced the customer experience by reducing the frustration linked to waiting times and providing flexible options suited to families’ needs. Additionally, it streamlines restaurant services by optimizing table turnover and guest reception throughout the day.

Thanks to DuckTheLine, Center Parcs Trois-Forêts has turned a major logistical challenge into an opportunity to boost visitor satisfaction while maintaining operational efficiency.
